Watch Your Favorite Shows on a 144 inch Inflatable Television

Watch Your Favorite Shows on a 144 inch Inflatable Television
Your dreams of owning an inflatable television have finally come true thanks to Sigma Products Corporation. We admit, the idea of a floating television screen sounds a bit ludicrous at first, but for those who have the money to spend, the product isn't as ludicrous as it sounds. The Inflatable Home Theater Kit, as Sigma Products Corporation calls it, comes in two flavors: a 96 inch kit (model XL 8) and a 144 inch kit (model XL 12).

The 144 inflatable home theater kit comes equipped with: a 144 inch screen, 1 pair of 120W amplified speakers with 10" woofers, a pump, audio cables, stability tie downs, ground stakes, ground cloth, screen repair kit, nylon carry bag, and a remote control that allows you to control the volume. This version costs roughly $1700 USD.

The 96 inflatable version on the other hand comes with all the essentials, except the screen is smaller and instead of the 120W speakers, it comes with 1 pair of 100W amplified speakers with 8" woofers. This smaller version also has a smaller price tag: $1190 USD.

Of course, you will also need to pony up for a projector that will display the picture on the screen, those can cost anywhere from the mid hundreds well into the thousands.

The way the whole process works is actually very cool. You pump the screen as you would pump any other inflatable device, you connect whatever input device you want into your projector (for example: DVD Player, Game Console, or Satellite TV), and then you point the projector onto the massive screen. After that you lay down in your hammock, sip on a pina colada, and enjoy the show.

i-Cat Musical Pet

i-Cat Musical Pet
Much like the i-Dog, the i-Cat is cat-lover's desktop pet. It is more of novelty than anything else, but you can connect the iPod (or any other mp3 player) to the i-Cat and her face lights different colors to reflect her mood based on what song it's currently playing. If you rub her nose, hip-hop DJ scratching sounds come out of it.

The i-Cat retails for $29.99 and runs on 2 AA battteries.

The Xbox 360 HD-DVD Player is one the best HD-DVD player on the Market

The Xbox 360 HD-DVD Player is one the best HD-DVD player on the Market
What makes the Xbox360 HD-DVD player add-on one of the best HD-DVD players on the market is its price. Coming in at only $199, the player is a bargain for those of you who already own an Xbox 360. For those that do not, the price of an Xbox 360 Core System, plus the HD-DVD player add on is still the same price for what you pay for a stand-alone HD-DVD player unit. Not only that, the current stand-alone units are only capable of outputting at 1080i at this time, while the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player add-on is capable of outputting a 1080p signal through component cables or through a VGA connection (although there are reports that some televisions might have some compatibility issues displaying 1080p through VGA when using the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player add-on).

The unit works extremely simple. You simply plug the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player to one of the Xbox 360's USB ports, install the software that comes with the player, and plug the HD-DVD player add-on to the wall with the included power supply and cord. The software you need to install allows your Xbox 360 to recognize the player and adds the capability to view HD-DVD content on your Xbox 360.

Picture quality for this device is outstanding. It easily trumps the Toshiba HD-A1 and the Toshiba HD-XA1 by virtue of 1080p support alone, though video quality is about equal if you are viewing the movies via 1080i and 720p televisions.

There are a couple of downsides to this player that are worth mentioning however. Aside from the simple fact that you will need an Xbox 360, the Xbox 360 unfortunately does not offer HDMI support. In addition, although the drive runs fairly quiet, the actual Xbox 360 console runs loud. So, unless you have the systems enclosed, the noise level might affect your movie watching experience. That aside, the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player is thus far, best HD-DVD player on the market.

For a limited time you can get the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player bundled with a copy of Peter Jackson's King Kong HD-DVD movie and the Xbox 360 Universal Media Remote for $199.99.

Elmo TMX has the last laugh

Elmo TMX has the last laugh
The Elmo T.M.X. will make you laugh hysterically. Just dare tickle him and you will see Elmo literally fall to the floor laughing. The more you tickle him the more uncontrollable his laughter gets. He falls to the floor and rolls around kicking slapping his knees, hitting the floor and laughing as you enjoy the show with a smile from ear to ear. It's no wonder the new tickle me Elmo x-treme is laughing itself off the shelves this Holiday season.

Elmo is said to be one of the hottest toys this season and for that reason is hard to find. Fisher Price, the maker of the Tickle Me Elmo TMX doll, is struggling to keep up with demand for this toy. It seems that the dolls leave the shelves before they even get a chance to go on.

The Elmo TMX has a retail price of $39.99 and is geared toward ages of 18 months and up. The only thing that's not so funny about the Elmo TMX is trying to get your hands on one before christmas.

Hot Chocolate or Just Plain Ol' Milk Chocolate?

Hot Chocolate or Just Plain Ol' Milk Chocolate?
No one can deny the sexyness of the LG Chocolate television commercials. In fact it seems as if you can't walk two feet without bumping into a gigantic wall of "Chocolate" ads. Between LG's Chocolate cellphone and Justin Timberlake's "Sexy is Back" song the sexyness cliches are running rampant. So, you ask yourself, what is the big deal with the LG Chocolate phone?

We say, aside from the slick design, nothing. The LG Chocolate phone has very standard features and capabilities. The list includes: A standard 1.3 megapixel camera/video camera; Typical bluetooth capabilities; it plays music (both mp3 and wma); allows you to send video messages; supports both instant messaging and web browsing. The phone also has a port for a microSD card to store extra memory for your music and videos. Again, nothing really out of the ordinary as far as features are concerned.

As for ergonomics, the LG Chocolate (VX8500) does live up to its name. The black besel frame is slick, although it acts like a magnet for fingerprints. On its face you will find a standard mp3 controls look-alike, the input keys and camera are both hidden underneath, so all you have to do is slide the input keys down or the camera up. Simple enough. The LG chocolate also weights only 3.53 ozs so it won't be weighing down your pants or snapping up purses any time soon. Usage time is approximately 210 minutes per charge.

Should you give in to the hype? No. The phone doesn't offer any new breakout features. However, if all you want is a sexy phone, the LG Chocolate does deliver a sweet treat.

Keep Your Drink Cooler, Longer

Keep Your Drink Cooler, Longer
In our last entry we informed you on how you can keep your coffee/tea warm with the nifty USB beverage warmer. We can't afford to be partial with the products we speak about so we decided to give cold also a shot. Enter the Cool-It Beverage Chiller (their choice of name not ours). Unlike a coaster that just sits on your desk and does nothing but absorb moisture, you can use the Cool-It USB Beverage Chiller computer accessory as a coaster that keeps your drink a chilling 45 degrees fahrenheit. And since this tool is powered by a USB port, you can attach it to your PC, MAC, XBOX360, Nintendo Wii, and Playstation 3 (they all have USB connections).

The accessory retails for a gelid $29.99.

Ghost Pendant Lights by Gunnel Svensson

Ghost Pendant Lights by Gunnel Svensson
Gunnel Svensson's company Bsweden is known for elegant, modern Nordic style lamps. One of the most affordable of the lamps provided by Bsweden is Ghost, a pendant light made with white opal glass supported by a 157 inch long black flex. The black flex can be trimmed to accommodate almost all types of ceiling heights.

Ghost is available in three different sizes: small (9.84 in), medium (16.93 in), and large (29.13 in) so they can be used in different ways. If you have an apartment with a small kitchen the smaller pendant might be more useful. If you own a single-family home, the medium would serve you best. If you own a restaurant with contemporary-modern decor, the large Ghost pendant light would look perfect in a large bar.

There is one more difference between each lamp aside from their height. The large Ghost pendant light has a ceiling rose in stainless steel while both the small and medium size have a black ceiling rose.

You can purchase your own Ghost pendant light by Gunnel Svensson at the DesignOnline.se's web site.

Keep Your Cosmopolitan Cool at all Times

Keep Your Cosmopolitan Cool at all Times
Nothing is more annoying than an ice-cold drink turned room-temperature warm. This is even more annoying when you are talking about a martini. Thankfully Clio has come up with a clever way to keep your martini drinks deliciously cool.

The Clio Martini Glass is actually a two-piece Martini Glass. The upper part of the glass has the typical trademark martini glass shape. This is where you obviously pour the delicious concoction. The bottom part of Clio Martini Glass however, looks like a glass candle holder or a small water goblet. Here is where you fill the glass with a generous portion of ice cubes which in turn keeps your drink cool.

The Clio Martini Glass is available at your local Crate & Barrel retail locations or on their web site.

Custom Blank CDRs From 5-inch Hit the Mark

Custom Blank CDRs From 5-inch Hit the Mark
Dump your blank CDRs for these custom-designed blank CDRs and cases. The best thing about these blank CDRs is that they are not glued-on to your CDRs/DVDs like the typical stickers you can buy at retail stores. That type of CD art could potentially damage both your data and your CD/DVD player when the heat of the laser melts the glue. Of course, you are restricted to whatever design is available, but at least instead of your boring blank CD/DVDs, you can associate certain bands to certain CD designs.

Their natural CD bundle is our favorite and you can find them at the 5inch web site.
