Retro Mama's Salt Water Taffy Plush Pear Holiday Ornament

Retro Mama's Salt Water Taffy Plush Pear Holiday Ornament
We've pimped retro mama's stuff in the past and felt it was time to do it again. In the spirit of the holiday season, a nod to her plush pear holiday ornament would be a perfect post. The pear features pale pink and green roses and rose damask. The stem and leaf are wool felt and a white ric rak ribbon hanger completes the package. You won't find this kind of stuff at your local Target.

Zevro's Vacuumsaver
Although storage containers are useful, the ingenious guys at Zevro have come up with a better version of the old favorite. Unlike traditional storage containers that trap in moisture and air, Zevro's Vacuumsaver allows you to suck out the moisture and air out of the container with an included pump to create a vacuum. The result is food that will be kept fresher, longer.

Elegant Gas Fire Pits the ultimate conversation piece

Elegant Gas Fire Pits the ultimate conversation piece
We came across this real nice looking fire pit at Yardiac.com and couldn't wait to share it with you. The Solano Fire Table is customizable to three granite colors and two base colors. It offers a choice of gas logs or fireglass, which is our personal favorite. The table top is 1 1/4 inch thick granite and the base is 42" heigh x 41" wide x 30" deep. It weighs 575 pounds so it will be hard to move around, but this is the kind of thing you keep in one place for a long time. The construction of these units seems rigid and we like the fact that the base is powder coated, which will protect it from the harsh outdoor weather.

These fire pits are great for patio and pool areas and will liven any party, specially in those cold winter months. This particular model sells for $2,599, but there are other models at different prices ranges.

Zapi UV Toothbrush Sanitizer

Zapi UV Toothbrush Sanitizer
My toothbrush holder looks like a germ battle ground from all the water that has collected over the months. I found the Zapi UV Toothbrush Sanitizer, which zaps your toothbrush with UV light for 7 minutes to eliminate 99% of bacteria that crawls all over your toothbrush head. And unlike most of the other toothbrush holders, the bottom snaps off so you can easily clean it! Imagine that.

The $29.99 package comes with the toothbrush holder (zapi) and a matching toothbrush.

Give Your Cable Mess an ID

Give Your Cable Mess an ID
When I'm down on all four underneath my computer desk, I hate not knowing what the cable I'm holding belongs to. I ran into that experience yesterday and it annoyed the crapola out of me. Did some quick Google searches and come up with the simply-named, Cable ID. The rubber helix shape allows you to wrap the Cable ID around the cord and then with a ballpoint pen you simply write what the cable is for in the space provided.

A pack of 8 differently colored ids will set you back about $7 at most stores.

The Earfun clips are a bit on the useless side, but it does add more personality to those dull iPod earphones. Our personal favorite: flower power.

Light O Rama, Christmas Lights on Steroids

Light O Rama, Christmas Lights on Steroids
Ok, you got us: we are all a bunch of geeks and love these kinds of products. The Light O Rama is a must have for the Christmas junky that must have the best Christmas display in their neighborhood.

Sit back and imagine a synchronized light show to your favorite Christmas tunes at your home. Are you done imagining? We know what you are thinking, you probably have no programming experience and think, well it'd be cool but I can't program for squat. No problem. The guys at Light O Rama created a software that you install on your PC, which makes it real easy to program your light extravaganza visually. That's what makes the process easy. You can even download a demo of the software before you purchase to try it out.

So how much does it cost? There are different products at different price ranges, but the one that caught our attention is the 16 channel starter kit, which retails for $419.00. This particular unit can provide enough power to control a 9,000 mini-light display.

Anyway it's always better to see what this stuff can do, so here are two videos taken from Light O Rama's website to show you what its all about.

Enjoy!
