Sarah Hankinson's Fashion Illustration Prints

Sarah Hankinson's Fashion Illustration Prints
We're big fans of Sarah Hankinson. And even though we know nothing of fashion, we are even bigger fans of her fashion illustrations. Lucky for us, Sarah sells some of her fashion illustrations on her Etsy shop. All prints are limited edition 35cm by 25cm printed on high quality cotton archival art paper using archival pigment inks.

Audio Cassette Table Mats

Audio Cassette Table Mats
Totally retro dude! Table mats printed to resemble an old audio cassette laminated with transparent foil for easy cleaning. A set of 6 of these audio cassette table mats will set you back 11.9 EUR (or about $17 USD at current rates). You'll have to figure out tax and shipping all on your own though.

TIP: This is cool enough to frame.

Tom Vadakan's All Dressed Up Print

Tom Vadakan's All Dressed Up Print
This limited edition 10" x 8" giclee print beautifully illustrated by Tom Vadakan was created to convey "being someone else not who you really are." The reason we love it is by the strong use of tangerine orange hues and the way the blend in with the similarly strong yellow.

As with anything at Poketo this limited edition stuff goes fast.

Decorate Your Cappuccino
Irma & Rimas produce handmade coffee stencils which give life to the tasty froth that adorns your cappuccino. The story goes that their business grew out of the first cup of coffee which said "I love you." Now their web site has over 150 different handmade coffee stencil designs.

The Falling Bookend

The Falling Bookend
Designer Ori Niv give us a chuckle this morning when we saw the Falling Bookend at his web site. Available in three colors: red, green, and black (what no silver?), the bookend is made out of metal to help support the weight of the angled books. Ori Niv recommends a hard cover book as your first book since it will help conceal the medal plate better than a softcover one will. Besides, a large hard cover book will look more menacing to the person facing their inevitable doom.

For the Sushi Du Jour: Lily Pond Sushi Set

For the Sushi Du Jour: Lily Pond Sushi Set
Look I ain't going to tell you to buy the Lily Pond Sushi set designed by Giovannoni Stefano and Takeda Rumiko, after all it is $94.00, but dang is it pretty to look at. The set comes with a plate, chopsticks in melamine, a soy sauce plate and a chopsticks holder made out of fine bone china.

Pneumatic Vacuum Elevator

Pneumatic Vacuum Elevator
I guess sci-fi technology is already here. The pneumatic vacuum residential elevator moves passengers by means of pressurization up to four floors. The benefits of a pneumatic vacuum elevator over a traditional elevator include fast installation, no lubrication, and no need for an engine room in some subterranean level in your house. The main concern we have is the lack of space. From the videos we saw on the company's web site, a typical male will fit in pretty tight.

We hope the technology advances quickly with this one. With homes getting smaller and smaller and multi-level homes being the solution residential elevators will become more of the norm. That or humanoids.

Iceblox: Tetris Ice Cube Trays

Iceblox: Tetris Ice Cube Trays
Our favorite past time is now frozen in time thanks to designer Martin Zampach. The Icebox is an ice tray that turn everyday water into ice Tetris pieces. The 100% food grade silicone Iceblox goes for about 6.90 EUR at the designer's web site and it is worth every penny, specially for those of us who used to arrange Tetris pieces in our sleep.

The Cellphone Love Seat / Sofa

The Cellphone Love Seat / Sofa
I used to own a cellphone foam love seat/sofa for a long time. I got it from one of those promotional companies that send you all kinds of samples when you are at a design agency. It sat at my desk for a few years holding up my terrible Motorola Razr. My wife fell in love with it when she saw it, so I kindly gave it to her. I've been looking for a replacement ever since, but only found them at promotional companies web sites, most which required a large minimum order before they even considered sending me one.

Till now. Office Playground has a similar cellphone foam love seat sofa at retail for only $3.99. WOOT!

Doesn't that iPod look awesome chillin' like a villain in that picture?
